Given the special circumstances of befriending services we would not match directly, but share suitable matchings with the program organiser (pastor, NGO or charity director, ...) to finally make the call whether to facilitate the matchmaking.

What do you need to do ?
In 25 min you create your profile and the rest is magic. We match you based on an algorithm that incorporates the latest insights of friendship research.
FIND LIKE-MINDED PEOPLE
Even if a second and third wave comes, we can help you find a few like minded people to become friends and meet online or in small home circles (support bubbles).
STEP BY STEP
CREATE PROFILE
On profile.practicalfriendship.com (hosted by Limesurvey) you answer an in-depth questionnaire regarding what you primarily value about your friends and what your friends primarily value about you. The second section then looks at your hobbies and interests. This step takes 20-25 minutes, and only needs to be done once resulting you receiving a Chiffre code for your profile.
REGISTER PARTICIPATION
On registration.practicalfriendship.com you then register your chiffre with the groups or circles in which you wish to be matched with other people. This can be the local church, a care home befriending organisation or a regular games meetup at the community centre.
ALGORITHMIC MATCHING
Once 5 people have registered within a circle we will run the matching, and if suitable matchings occur, notify registered people or the circle organizer to facilitate contact making.
Please note that it takes about 25 minutes to complete this questionnaire on a PC, Laptop, Tablet or Phablet. It is a little bit more difficult on a small screen Smartphone.
