PROCESS DESCRIPTION
CREATE PROFILE
On profile.practicalfriendship.com (hosted by Limesurvey) you answer an in-depth questionnaire regarding what you primarily value about your existing friends and what your friends primarily value about you. The second section then looks at your hobbies and interests. This step takes 25Â minutes, and of course only needs to be done once resulting you receiving a chiffre code for your profile.
REGISTER PARTICIPATION
On registration.practicalfriendship.com you then register your chiffre with the groups or circles in which you wish to be matched with other people. This can be the international students group, the group of your faculty or year-group or the group of students within a neighbourhood of the city to form corona support bubbles.
ALGORITHMIC MATCHING
Once 5 people have registered within a circle we will run the matching, and if suitable matchings occur, notify registered people directly (or if this a closed circle used for events the circle organizer) to facilitate contact making.
Please note that it takes about 25 minutes to complete this questionnaire on a PC, Laptop, Tablet or Phablet. It is a little bit more difficult on a small screen Smartphone.
